HP 4700 GPS with TMC advice please

I'm new to this and have spent most of the day looking at what a lot of you (very helpful and knowledgeable) people have to say about TMC.

I have looked at a few sites and found that the ALTURION GPS PROFESSIONAL 6.0 software is available in the UK from http://www.easydevices.co.uk .

It says it is £149.00.

Has anyone tried this software?
Can it use the Modular Navigon GPS Receiver?
Is this receiver available separately?

I am very interested in getting my new 4700 up and running using GPS and as I spend a lot of time on the road in my job I would like the best option available.

Any help greatfully accepted.

Well, the UI looks a bit childish, but apart from that it seems to be an acceptable package.

As they state you can either use a RMC enabled mouse (the description doesn't mention if the RDS subscription is free) or you can use a GPRS connection (which would also mean GPRS data transfer costs).

Alternatives are TomTom, Navigon, or Route 66 - t they all offer TMC in one or the other form.
