Can any one help with the following:

I have brought the Lidl bundle. On the start menu i have now got two occurance of the Falk link. Both of them run and i'm trying to get rid of one. ->start - settings - select menu option displays two falk software with a check on one----how do get rid of the other (without the check mark on).

Another one for you guys......trying to connect my pda to the laptop....displays the usb found hardware....are the drivers on the CD supplied. Didn't want to open the packet to prob sell.....do i need to open it or can i locate drivers else where?

Cheers

Matt

Hi

Connecting your PDA to Laptop you will need activesync 3.7 on your laptop, if you don't want to get it from the CDs in the package you can download it from microsoft.com (Just search for activesync 3.7 on the microsoft site).

As for the double link you can go in thru file explorer and delete one if you have duplicates,

Thanks Rickh for reply to no 1. will download.

However i cannot locate two occurances of falk. Is there a "find" with this windows ppc. can't see any apart from "open" . I've looked in windows - start menu in file explorer. i can only see one falk not two. Does this mean a reset of the unit. I know this is not a big deal but it kinda bugs me for some reason.

Hi

Got me stumped then Question

I would have though the duplicate would have shown up in that folder, sometimes when TomTom creates a duplicate on upgrades etc, thats where it hides and can be deleted from,

If you have not done anything major a hard reset (Slide the button on the back to off) will resore it to original condition as I am sure you are aware, but that can be a pain if you have already spent time customsinig it,

Sorry I can't help I really can't think where the duplicate could be coming from,

Activesynce 3.7.1 Build 4034 is the one that came on the CDs with the unit, so assume this is fairly up to date

ActiveSync 3.7.1 Build 4034 is the latest version - and is recommended over the earlier 3.7.1 build (3.7.1 Build 3244) for various reasons.

However, if you're already happy with ActiveSync 3.7, and it's compatible with your device (WM2003SE machines require 3.7.1 Build 4034), then I wouldn't worry too much about upgrading to 3.7.1.
