Is there anybody reading this forum that has an interest in discussion on the Chrysler RB1 Navigation System that is made by Alpine. I have an 05 Dodge Grand Caravan that has one. The system seems straight forward in it's use but it might be nice to discuss findings and get opinions from others on use of the system. I find the system to have some shortcomings based on my experience with my PDA with CoPilot 5 Live and Destinator 3 that I have been using.

I just saw your post of Dec? I have the same. The reason I got just the Nav system is that the extra DVD player comes with it and everything is built in. With a little work of wiring the plug on the back of the lower DVD will play all their remotes while you can play the top. I have three 8" screen installed in the rear all with plugs for game systems for under $400. Much nicer than the one 7" option for $1200. All I had to order is the remote from the dealer for $25.00 As far as the Nav system, works fine, seen better. I wish there was a way to disable the safety lock to be able to enter address while moving. I dread upgrading the cd at $350.
