AlexM,

I had the same error message Confused

Did it take a while for POI editor to come up with the message ?
Did you delete the final empty quotes column that POI converter produces ? (I read somewhere that you must delete this column, so that's what I did initially and got that error message).

When I tried again and left the column in, the POI editor was happy and reported the available and required memory correctly, allowing the transfer to succeed.

By following the instructions exactly as posted you should not have any problems.

But if you do, simply post here and we will endeavour to help where we can.

Quick question: now the new speed camera database is out, if I name the files the same as the ones I already have on my 510, will they simply install over the top of the old ones when I send them to the device or do I need to remove the old ones first?

You could always try it! But seriously, the existing files will be overwritten, although I always delete the existing ones first.

Hi there

I have also tried to load the Gatso database onto my iCN 510 and have encountered the same 16MB limit error message.

I have followed the instructions to the letter 3 times and with no luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks

i followed the directions given to upload the poi s. only thing different was that the lat long file i was not able to extract was mailed to me by you (icsys) in excel format. the rest was easy. every thing went all right. but i did not get any warnings from the navman on the roads when there were cameras i know for sure. Sad
any ideas?

You need to set the cameras up in Active POI's

Main Menu | Settings | Alerts | then the Active POI tab.

Make sure the safety camera database is shown, check the Active box, also check Visual warning and Sound Warning boxes.
You can also set the distance before the POI to be alerted.

Once you have done this you will get the warnings.
