i didnt know where to post this so i thought this might be the best place?!, im currently using GPSassit but i noticed it doesnt detect some of the speed camers in my area, can anyone tell me which is the best up to date software to download?

It’s not the software - it’s the data! GPSAssist 2.xx is very good.
Which databases are you using?
Are you using ours, i.e. the PocketGPSWorld databases?
All of the databases available for use with GPSAssist are non-commercial, i.e. the locations of the various types of cameras are collected by members and submitted to the Camera Database Administrator. If you use the PocketGPSWorld databases, which are free, then please let us know of cameras that are not on the database, or cameras that need their details updating.
You can configure a hardware button on your PDA to record a new camera with GPSAssist to an .OV2 file of your choice. You can then send this .OV2 to our Camera Database Administrator who is Richard (Oldie) to the following address:
Cameras [at] PocketGPSWorld [dot] com
Please also send details of the speed limits for each camera.
