This may be a stupid question (an area I specialise in!) but does anyone now of a way to get the raw data from a saved Tracklog from a Garmin eTrex Venture?
I have MM2004 and can obviously download tracks into that, but what I want is to be able to see the actual data (time and co-ordinates) for the saved track.
I can't connect a pocket pc for live data logging as the unit will be floating in a box on the water, connected to me by a line, so I need to be able to download and review the tracklog later on either PC or Pocket PC.

You could take a look at OziExplorer, which may do it. Its help file lists a lot of Garmin models that it can send to / receive from. You can download and try it for free, then register if you do intend to use it. _________________ Barry Davies
