Sad
I have just received and installed Navigator 3 Bluetooth for my HP 4150. All installing seemed to go fine however the TOMTOM Navigator link never appeared on the screen afterwards in contradiction to the manual.

Further to this, if I go into the software and go to enter a City to Navigate to I get no locations come up and then a message saying "Unable to launch the GPS Control Panel".

Has anyone had this problem? and/or suggest a fix?

Sorry if this has been covered to death in another thread!

Thanks!
Pete

Try to run the GPS module on its own. You find it under Start > Settings > System > GPS . Make sure the BlueTooth connection is working between the Pocket PC and the receiver (bonded, connected to serial port)

hello,

i just bought tomtom navigator USA (I'm still charging the BT receiver). I had the same "gps control panel" cannot be opened error message when I try to view the GPS status in Tomtom navigator.

I can establish a BT connection. But it only shows up in the outgoing connections and not in the incoming connections (i have an ipaq 4155 running pocket pc 2003). 0 bytes get transferred between the two devices.

So, i look for the setting->system->gps entry but its not there. Can it be somewhere else? thanks.

ok, so it turns out that i never let the installation finish, thus no tomtom gps was installed. reinstalled everything and things seem to be ok. I can communicate to the BT receiver via tomtom GPS but since i dont have a fix yet (yes, its THAT new), i see no data.

hopefully, i dont bump into any other problems.
