Infomap (Directions Ltd) have launched Pocket Navigator 6 on their Website. Its their first venture into PDA GPS software. It is very competitively priced at £59.95 for Western Europe. Does anyone have any additional information on this? |

I've taken what may be a bit of a chance, seeing as it's only in Beta at the moment...but I purchased this to-day.
I'll let you know how I get on.

I had a very quick look at the Infomap (Directions Ltd) website.
Does anybody know whether it covers the Channel Islands, e.g. Jersey?
Any idea who the map data provider is (e.g. Tele Atlas, Navteq)?

Thanks for the information. Yes, a link to Tele Atlas and not to Navteq would indicate that Infomap use Tele Atlas map data! ;)

Just had a quick look - it seems not, I'm afraid. Shows St Helier as a dot, and that's it...unless it comes under France North. I don't have that loaded at the moment, but, judging by the way the Ferry lines end abruptly just outside St Malo without St Malo actually being named, I don't think this is the case.
