Hi Guys,

Just a quick question here. What are the best settings on the Pocket PC side of things for it to use highways and major roads over back streets etc.... I've tried every setting combination with no luck, it likes to always go the back ways, even though using major roads is almost as quick but also is better because of less traffic lights faster speeds etc....

Anyway help would be appreciated.

Try using the RV mode. That one prefers majjor roads.

Thank you for your reply. I have set the unit to RV with no luck, still goes the back roads. i.e. My trip from home to work is basically 3 smaller roads and 1 long highway so in total it's highway door to door, but CP gets me on that highway, then pulls me off and continues a back way. I've tested both and the highway option really only adds about 3-5mins at the most, but is a lot easier ride, selecting RV I would have also guessed it would have kept me on the highway.

Off the topic, I have also set automatic POI announcements, I can drive right through the POI and it says nothing and about 5 min's past the POI it then tells me it's coming up. if I know? Any Ideas?

Thank you for your help

Does anyone know if it is possible to amend the settings in Copilot V5 for the saftey screen.

The default is over 10mph, I was wondering if I could change this to say 60mph as you can with TomTom?

You can't change the speed at which the safety screen comes into play, but you can switch quickly between views.
