The Canaries are already mapped albeit not very well.
I used the Tenerife map last May and will be using the latest release (Q3 2004) in April which, unfortunately, does not appear to have been updated. Crying or Very sad

If they are already mapped thats good news. However TTG have not made available the map for the TTG. Would have thought that most northern Europeans who visit the Canaries would love to use TTG there if they could.

Driving around Newcastle today I noticed numerous map errors, mostly roundabouts which have been converted to traffic light junctions. But also it told me to turn right where the was a no right turn :o

Do Teleatlas get updates from local councils about change in policy on such things as no right turns?

I would like to hope that they do but how long they take to reach the end product is anyones guess.

You can notify Tele Atlas of such errors yourself by using their online feedback form

I expect you were told to do a right turn up by the City Hall in Newcastle ?

If so, this road layout changed about 8-9 months ago so therie is no chacne of it being correct. If only Newcastle council would elave our roads alone! I notice we are now having a 20 limit all over the city center as well as all the bus lanes:evil:

Bother. That explains a few things, like "Van Zanot" and "Bomar" (really Van Zandt and Bolivar) Rolling Eyes
