Active sync

Could someone please give me some assistance with active sync i have just installed tom tom 2 and i can no longer conect via active sync i have tried usb and com ports i cannot get it to work any help much apprieciated.ready to put in the bin

Try soft resetting your iPAQ, I suspect what you're probably experiencing is you've run up TTN2 or the GPS status screen which automatically tries to connect on COM1 if you're using their hardware, which is the same port you use for ActiveSync. You need to make sure that TomTom Navigator 2 is closed correctly (pref with a third party task manager) before trying to use ActiveSync. If in doubt, try a soft reset (not hard reset) and this should sort it out, but you will lose any favourites you've stored prior to the soft reset if you haven't exited TTN2 correctly.
