Hi all,
I have a requirement to convert between WGS84 and the Swedish grid RT90, because often I do not find the location using Street/City in TomTom
Many of the places we visit also have a reference using RT90
(I'm into deep water here, I assume TomTom use WGS84)
What is the best way to convert from RT90 to Lat/Long that you can enter into TT?
1. Is it an easy task for TT to integrate conversion into the SW?
2. Doea anyone know of any Pocket PC conversion utility?
3. Or any PC utility as second option?
4. If such utilities exists, what other grid systems could be handy besides RT90. Is it used often in Europe as a reference?

I suggest you try this webb page from Lantmäteriet, the national map provider in Sweden. I'm not aware of a PPC application that does this conversion for you. If you find one, please let me know.

Thanx for the update,
There is a utility now :D
Have a look at http://franson.com/coordtrans/
They have released CoordTrans for Pocket PC 1.0
I haven't tested it much, but I plan to do it this summer
It seems to be a response to my requirements |
