GPSK Handtec.... brilliant Customer Service

Last Wednesday I ordered a Navman iCN635 from Handtec and it was delivered to my work address on the Thursday. I could not have it sent to my billing address as I would not be there and did not want to mess around with getting couriers to deliver on different days etc etc. Other suppliers would only deliver to a billing address.
Unfortunately the 635 decided to loose power and shut down after 20 minutes of use (great if it is about to give you info about a direction at the next multi exit roundabout) - wait 10-15 minutes and the 635 would work again for another 20 minutes - so I sent an email to Handtec's customer care centre on the Sunday and got a response back on the Sunday night (5 gold stars for service)
Sent the faulty unit to Handtec on Tuesday night and today (Thursday) on my desk at work sits my replacement unit.
Handtec's customer care people kept me informed of what was happening all the time.
Now I can only hope that the replacement unit works OK and there is no repeat of the problem of loosing power and switching off after 20 minutes (but that is Navman's problem not Handtec)

I too purchased from handtec. My Haicom 303e developed a fault and it was replaced without question.... 8)

I bought my system from Handtec, and they were ace.

After the device was delivered and I'd got it all going, I decided I might want to try the air-vent mount, when I rung them to ask whether I could buy one, the chap said I could pop along to the office, so I did (they're in Peterborough, but they're not a shop, just an office), and I got one at no charge.

Sterling service. I have recommended them to many of my friends.

Excellent service.

305III GPS unit and 512Mb Sd card and in-car adaptor cables 9to use 305III as GPS mouse if necessary.

Ordered the day before New Years Eve and delivered first day back at work. First orderf rom them and they delivered to my work address.

I will be using these guys again - well done.
