This has probably been asked 50 thousand times before but.... I require a bluetooth GPS receiver and like everyone I want the best one for my needs.

I need it for in-car Sat Nav (using TomTom) and walking (using Memory Map) in the North Yorkshire Moors on my XDA II.

I was about to purchase the Emtac Trine, then read the review of the Holux GR231 and now reading the forums the Fortuna Clip-on sound ideal to.

I suppose my main requirements are split between most accurate GPS (for both in-car and walking) and battery life (don't want to get lost). I don't currently need to connect to multiple Bluetooth devices but this is a nice future proofing feature.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The ones you mention above are fine.
If you walk a lot maybe a datalogger such as the Royaltek RBT3100 or DeLorme BlueLogger would be useful?

You need to consider battery life between charges and the ability to remove / replace it.
Receivers with a non-removable battery have a life span of around 400 charges.

Accuracy should be better than 3 metres with most of the receivers but it also depends on the acuracy of the maps you are using. I have actually achieved this on several occasions using Anquet OS mapping so it can be done!

I use the Navman 4100 receiver personally because it uses std AAA batteries and can last 15 hours+ from a new set.

As for connecting multiple BT devices... I believe that's down to your PDA
