Question on journey planning - second go messed up first!

I understand from the review on the site that the iCN 510 has a journey planning feature, i.e. a route from A to B to C to D etc., up to 14 points. Can these journeys be prepared in advance (a day or two) and kept even if the machine is switched off? Also can you store multiples of these routes?

The context is that as well as "A to B" navigation in my "day" car, I have a classic that I sometimes take on tours. These tours do not follow main roads but take scenic routes. A to B routing such as in the TOMTOM GO would not be much help, but with the intermediate points in the journey planning I could "force" the scenic route. I'd like to do this in advance, and if possible store several routes as some of the tours last several days.

yes u can store pre-planned routes either as a favourite, or a shortcut, u can even edit them when saved
