Constantly lose power connection unless cord is held in place. Then when powers up again seems to default to a roundabout 100 miles away!! Has anyone solved this power problem please. Thanks

Hi there

Are you refering to the iCN630 Question How long have you had it Question .

I've not had this problem with the one I've got and it's had a lot of use in the past 12 months. However I can remember seeing a similar problems being reported back when the 630 was first released over 18 months ago. If my memory serves me right this was put down to a bad batch of sockets and Navman sorted the problem out at that time. I would certainly get back to your supplier and get them to rectify the fault for you.

With regards to the default question you queried, when I switch on my unit my default maps shows an address in Milford on Sea. I couldn't figure it out to start with but then I remembered that it was the first address I used when I set up my unit.

Regards

Yes it is an icn630 which I purchased secondhand. Have Navman got a service centre where I could get the socket replaced. Question

I would suggest you contact Navman-Europe Technical Service Dept on 01293 780 500 and ask their advice regarding repairs.
