I am using Garmin Mapsource Europe on a laptop, with a Garmin GPS Pilot III attached, and Garmins' new NRoute beta version voice guidance system.

I have been able to download and install into Mapsource a POI file
available on your website (many thanks!).

Presently I would need to list every GATSO on my proposed route, as a
waypoint in order to be warned of its approach, within the NRoute
software. Obviously that is way too unwieldy.

Is there some way that the POI-warner software can run alongside, and provide the warnings?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

I thought the POI-Warner software only runs on a Pocket PC?

In either case you will need to have some form of port splitting, either via software (GPSGate or its PC equivalent) or with multiple GPS receivers.

I hadn't bought the POI Warner software, so I don't know if it only runs on pocket p.c. I was waiting to see if the structure i was considering would work as outlined. Many thanks for your super-prompt input.
