Went to Eastbourne from Bexhill today. The only time I got traffic was for a short time near the hospital at Hamden Park, both outwards and the return journey.

Something is going on.

I wouldn't bother to phone Garmin, they'll just ask you to send it in for a replacement.

They don't listen.

I thought the BBC didn't transmit info on behalf of commercial ventures.

Just been out to check mine.

As quick as I could get into Settings - Traffic, it was already logged into 'Inrix UK $'.

Went back to map display, and traffic, albeit 'no traffic' was showing. Certainly quicker than yesterday.

Locked on PDQ just now. I'll see how long it lasts.

Later 11:10. It 'went away' then came back and now it has gone away again.

I’ll see what I get this afternoon. I’m off to East Surrey Hospital in half an hour, so it should have a chance to get a signal.

If Garmin are winding down Inrix traffic in favour of their new LMT-S units then I'd have switch to TT for traffic as they use a sim card I think ?

My phone connects to the car head unit so CA can clearly warn of cameras as my phone speakers are too quiet. That means I can't use LMT-S as bluetooth can't connect to 2 devices simultaneously.

I doubt Garmin are winding down as they are still advertising and selling LMT-D, but you never know with some companies.

Has anyone tried raising a ticket with Garmin or Inrix ?

No indication Garmin are winding any traffic down. It's working here on France and did when I left UK last Wednesday. Really needs someone to contact Garmin on their freephone number and ask Smile

When you drive back from France, presumably you will be driving through East Sussex where M8 is reporting sporadic issues.

Ah. Just switched mine on this morning. Traffic OK. 10 mins later, gone. Repeated after lunch, same result. Will repeat again now.

Yep. Seems repeatable. Stays up at 5 bars for about 5 mins then goes off.I'll have another go. Spoke too soon, it's back up.
