firstly ive backed up my sd card that's stored in the armrest box.

under the root folder there is a folder called Licence. the licence file is called Harman_Opennav_JLR_NLI_HM_EU_2015Q3.

also under navigation is a folder called content.
folders in here include POI, speedcam.

The poi folder contains files called UnitedKingdom.poi 41,309kb and UnitedKingdom.poi.md5 1kb

The speedcam folder contains SpeedcamUpdates.spud 0kb only

ive seen previous posts with reference to the .spud file for the Igo where you can down load the .txt file put them in the speedcam folder. I tried this but nothing loaded.

ive also seen reference here to a file called Speedcam.spdb which is not on my card. is this something I can download and add to the folder?

Any help appreciated
Thankyou in advance. Dusty

If it is iGO, then you should be able to put the .txt file into {root}\{iGO8}\Content\SPEEDCAM where {iGO8} is the folder that includes the sub folders: Audio, CARS,Content, Custom,Defaults, Licence et. and the .exe file for the program, in the case of iGO8, unsurprisingly it's called iGO8.exe.

The .spud file is created/added to when you put one of your own cams into the S/W and the extension name for the cam database is .spdb. You put the .txt file into the SPEEDCAM folder and the S/W creates the .spdb file.
If yours does not do this, then perhaps the facility has been removed from your version.
When you start iGO after putting the .txt file into SPEEDCAM you can tell it's doing something as it takes linger to boot and a message comes up on the splash screen saying something like'Initialising warning data'.
