Information please for old TomTom

Hi,
I have just been given an old TomTom Start, that is all it says on the box. Using Connect does not seem to do anything, but I can see the memory card OK. The box says 8EX0.010.10, is this the model? Can I download map updates from here for this model as it is not obvious.

If your PC can read the memory it must be one of the early Starts which uses TomTom Home rather than MDC
