Yes, hang on a bit.

The new version is todays but it's been tweaked to be a smoother follow on from the new 'Direction Converter' program that takes the CameraManager3 file(s) and creates 100+ individual directional files like gatso_fifty_n, gatso_fifty_s, gatso_fifty_w, etc.

Dales is currently testing them in tandem and providing bug and tweak requirements.

They are very nearly there.

I've never tried or tested foreign kph files with the converter so I have no idea if it works or not.

Surely it should just unzip the PGPSW database files like the UK ones? Or is that too simplistic?

I deleted the .prev files and reloaded the gpx, wav & bmp, but have not yet tried it to see if it only gives 1 proximity warning, when going too fast.

I tried it on the way into work and I am still getting a proximity warning and an overspeed if travelling too fast. I am really confused now. Wondering whether to just change all the @'s in the PGPSW csv files to # and load those with POI Loader. Would it work?

Is the not what you are supposed to get?
Please humour me and remind me of what exactly you are trying to achieve.

Hi M8TJT,

I am trying to get 1 proximity warning for each camera only. I do not want a second or third reminder just because I am travelling too fast.

In the CSV to GPX Convertor I have set Approach to 17, and Overspeed to 0. However I still get an overspeed warning, and cannot work out why that is the case.

If you look at my posts from page 5 of this thread, you will see the steps I have tried so far.

Any help is gratefully received.

Thanks

Scratching at straws now.

Is your Garmin still set to Single Tone and with Custom POIs checked.
Is everything else unchecked eg Garmin Cyclops warnings.

What is the number of Total GPI Cameras according to the converter?
And does PoiLoader report the exact same figure when you load to the device?

Do your overspeed warnings give identical messages to the approach warnings?

Have you a file called Overspeed.gpx in your Working Directory?

(I notice you are running an older version of the converter - but that shouldn't make any difference to the overspeed warnings).

Dales.
