Hello all Smile

I might be getting my hands on a cassiopeia for free (it needs a new battery) i wanted to see if i could make my self up a cheap-ish GPS system with the safty camera POI on it ?

Can i get voice guide on the cassiopeia ?

I dont know exactly but its one of the square ones, not one of the really old flip style ones. I think its an E something with a 200Mhz CPU ?

I will try to get some more info.

thanks

Goto http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/compareomatic/index.php?TempID=8 and take a look by adding the Casio's and you should see an image of each one and that should tell you which one you have.

There's very limited support now for the older Casio's e.g. EM500, E105, E115, E125. If it's an E200 then it won't be bad, and you should get voice guidance working.

The E125 and below will run TTN2 and below but I'm not sure about TTN3.

It would also have to be a manufacturer CD upgrade and I don't believe Casio provided any customised upgrades for their PPC's.

It may work, but remember it's a reduced processor speed and lower memory (32mb). You will need to find applications that support the MIPS processor rather than ARM which is the standard now.
