mirror link on Skoda Fabia SEL

I am considering getting the new 2015 Skoda Fabia SEL – it comes with a DAB radio as standard but no SAT NAV option on the radio. It seems that it has a thing called MIRROR LINK which allows you to connect your smart phone via the USB socket under the dash – and then use any navigation app you have on your phone to watch / navigate on the radios 6 inch screen . I have installed “camera alert” app on my Samsung S3 and wonder if it will work on the Skodas DAB radio with the mirror link - Skoda know less about it than me !!

Have you googled it? There is quite a lot of stuff. I couldn't find a specific for Skoda, but it should give some clues how to do it.

thanks - there is a bit of info about the mirror link but nothing really specific to particular set ups - skoda are as helpful as a wind up encyclopedia with no key I haven't even been able to sit in the model I am interested in let alone play with the mirror link
