I and my friends have been experiencing loss of GPS signal on several satnav makes around the Midlands and Wales. Could this be related to the Sun Spot flare ups. The signal connects for a few minutes then it is lost for several miles. Terrain makes little difference. This has been happening since 11th June.

I've removed the duplicate question and edited out the link so the questions and answers can be kept in this thread.

Updating this, we went out for a ride on 25 June and signal was ok during morning but afternoon was very patchy. Tomtom via125 Inforad and CameraAlert on phone all lost signal. Hereford to Newcastle under lyme no signal for most of the afternoon. Friends Garmin 660zumo was the same.
