You'll notice that in my piccy all 3 file areas are green. That tells me that I have matching filenames for all camera types:

So that top one "gatso_fifty.gpx" also has a gatso_fifty.wav and a gatso_fifty.bmp

Once you get to this stage POILoader can take over

Hi. Me again.
I have re-loaded the CM files and checked the icons and all files in the directory and the specs cameras are still not being displayed. I get the voice warning, but despite the bitmap, gpx and wave files having the same file name, they're not shown.
Hopefully, here's a screen grab of the specs files -

Any more ideas, please?

Just a thought, but why do two files in each speed group not have extensions? Have you set Windows to show extensions? Otherwise how do you know they have the correct extensions?

Hi M8TJT.
Thanks for taking the time to reply to this.
I have changed Windows to show the file extensions.
This is a new screengrab with the extns shown - is this what it should be like ?

The filenames look OK to me.

Have you tried double-L-clicking on one of the .bmp's (eg for Fifty, if that's one that's not showing on the device). Just to see if it works in the Windows Picture Viewer.

You could check the Properties of the .bmp's.
Are they the same as for icons that do show up.
Perhaps the offending icons are too large for the device.
Mine are 24 x 24 pixels, 71 dpi, 8 bit depth.

Strange!

Dales.

Hi Dales.
Many thanks for your ideas.
I tried the 2xlmouse and they do show on viewer.
I had already modified all the icons to make them bigger (to 52x52) and they all showed up except the specs ones.
I have just made only the specs ones smaller and tried a test route just - the green specs icon showed up in the 'set destination to categories', then specs 50 when using the 'i' button to show the destination to route to, but when I started the 'simulate this route' all the cameras along the way showed up and voices sounded - except when I was passing the specs en-route, they didn't show on the screen (but I did get the voice warnings).
So, still a problem.
As you say - strange!!
Thanks for your suggestions, though.

Slight update to this.
I was on the M25 today and the Garmin's display showed some of the specs camera icons near the South East part of the motorway, but not all of them.
The regular specs on the M3 / M25 junction which I pass everyday never show on the display as icons.
Is this a problem with the PGPS database or the CM function - ALL the voice warnings were sounded for all cameras, just not all of them are visible icons!

We've had previous reports of possible overlapping icons causing Garmin display issues.

Once you've got my version up and running and you can eliminate any overlaps let us know.
