I as understand it the Naviextras Toolbox is similar to say TomTom Home, its the link between your software and the NavNgo.
How do you download any updates or new maps - do you just download straight to your comuter and then drag and drop the downloaded software/updates.

Cheers

How much do the maps cost - do you pay a fee for a years subscription and get 4 map downloads

The prices look OK but i then stumble into a headache - the only way i can download a new map up date is to use the Naviextras Toolbox - as i can't see a way where i could 'right click' to download.
But then i'm back to square one, as the software for downloading the map up dates cannot find my 'drive' with the SC card in it Confused

Are you plugging the SD card directly into your computer? And does it have all the iGO stuff on it or is some in the main device memory with just the maps on the SD? The Naviextras says 'Toolbox also might recognize SD cards that were removed from the navigation device and put into a card reader.' Note the 'might'
You have a PM
Have you yet established what date your current maps are?

Yes that might be a way of doing this.... i'm using a Micro SD Adapter to put my Micro SD card into then putting it straight into the PC using a card reader slot built into the PC The SD card is found by my computer and gives it a 'drive' letter- so a stand alone proper card reader might/could do the trick

Looks as if the map is the 2009 version

I wasn't talking about a standalone card reader, just that you had it connected to your computer directly via the card reader slot, rather than through the sat nav device.

I'm flummoxed Sad

Is there not a way of d/l the maps from naviextras after registration without using their 'tool'?
