I don;t think we need to do that just yet. First, do you see any reference to "._pgps-xxxxx" when you look at the POIs in Manage POIs? Looking for any files that have these pesky Dot_Underscore filenames.

Failing that, do you still have access to your PC?

I meant how are the POI files listed?

If you have access to a PC, can you connect your TomTom and look at the files on the device using explorer? I'd suggest you delete them all and start over.

I need you to look at the files via a PC and see if any other files are showing.

You should have 2 BMP Files:

pocketgps_uk_gatso_40_X2.bmp. and
pocketgps_uk_gatso_40.bmp

The X2.bmp file is used for a HD version in the corner of the map display. IIRC it won't display unless both BMPs are present.

Delete all the pocketgps_xxx files and start over. Copy across just the Pocketgps_xxxxx.ov2 and Pocketgps_xxxxxx.bmp files and then retest.

Many thanks to Richard and everyone that took the trouble to reply. After uninstalling my map and camera database and then reinstalling it all the cameras showed themselves so all is sorted

Are the speed camera POIs showing in Manage POIs? If not then you're doing something wrong.
