CamerAlert Europe coverage?

Do the database downloads include Europe "safety cameras"? I supose you must not use the map display while abroad using CamerAlert or you will run-up a huge data cost.
Off to Cyprus again, still no point in taking my TomTom as there still does not seem to be any on-board maps available. Last time, the car hire companies were offering satnav, so there must be some providers.

You can always run CamerAlert in the "Show map:Never" mode. The entire database is downloaded onto your phone, so there will be no data transfer at all if you set it to that mode.
