Gatzo :3021 @ 186 deg Lat 53.81508 Lon -2.22295 has been involved in a bit of an accident

I don't know when it happened but I saw it for the first time on the way to work this morning, could be a while before it's up and running again so I've requested removal from within the iPhone app.

I would imagine it depends on how much a moneyspinner it is on how long it takes to replace?

Someone should tell Fellwalker, whilst this Speed Camera may not 'cause' accidents, it's certainly been involved in one Laughing

Probably, but I can't think of a satnav that can. Shocked Those that can handle horizontal headings of third party POIs are pretty much like hens' teeth anyway Sad

I've no idea what happened to it other than something crashing into it, couldn't find anything on the local newspapers website about it.

They are supposed to be cutting 30 camera's from the (seemingly) hundreds that we have in east Lancs, this could be one of them but as aj2052 says, if it's a good earner they'll get it back up and running Rolling Eyes

Happy Thumbs Up

It's always a pleasure to get to verify one of these types of "deleted" cameras.

OK, my guess is, judging from the marks and distortion, someone has had a go at it with a JCB. Any other theories?
