It seems to be an odd location for a regular speed trap as there are fixed cameras about 1/2 a mile further down the A24, plus a red-light camera on the junction.

And three motorbikes? Seems a bit over the top and not very good use of resources. Maybe more like "Let's chase the wicked bikers with dodgy number plates and exhausts!"

Seems quite likely, the A272 is a popular Sunday route for bikers

Are there any other devices that help with detecting mobile speed cameras?

There is no foolproof way of 'detecting' mobile speed cameras. Laser detectors simply don't work, or when they do, the alert is way too late. Few mobiles use radar any more.

The best option is a GPS based database such as ours. The more active the members, the better the data. We honestly believe we have the best mobile database of anyone.

There are very smart GPS based detectors available but the most important feature is the data, forget the smart design and brand name, if the data is poor then it's no good.
