That is almost certainly a different problem. If any of those destinations/waypoints were off the data base map of car navigable roads; I suspect neither would have worked.

You can check if it's a pedestrianisation problem by asking for a walking route. If it gives you a walking route, but won't give a driving route, the "city centre" has been set in the pedestrian precinct. Best bet I found then is to navigate to a point on the map, and select the destination manually.
