mostdom is kind like WTF in this context but relitively straight forward.

...was the name of a character I created for a comic I was writing at school. Comic was about two marijuana smoking hippies who managed to get themselves upto allsorts of drug induced halucinated adventures. As the characters were loosly based on me and my freind the names came out as Dom and Ray, and like MaFt at the time attaching adverb was appropriate, so MostDom and EasyRay were born. Such is the nature of a private education.

And if this seems a bit far fetched I still have the comics as eveidence. (more a book of scribblings than a comic) Very Happy

Hi

It's fairly obvious what my real name is.

Mum and Dad gave me my first name because (a) it's a family name( grandfather g,grandfather etc) and (b) "It can't be shortened in to a nick name". Well of course it just gets lengthened in to one doesn't it. I've most often been had the nick name Royston or Roy the boy.

I was thinking of changing it to DILLIGAF. My ID not my name!

I first heard of this name when two friends where chatting. To protect the stupid I'll call them Jim and Bob. Jim works in Law and Bob runs a number of businesses. Bob was in court having a legal battle with another business and Jim was representing him.
At a point in proceedings the Judge asked Jim why was Bobs' business called DILLIGAF. Jim replied that he had no idea and would consult his client. "WHAT !!" was Jims response when Bob told him. "You expect me to stand up in front of all these expert witnesses, legal representatives and repeat that to 'His Honour' ?
Having no choice but to proceed Jim told the Judge that "DILLIGAF is an acronym, it stands for Do I Look Like I Give A F..."

I nearly widdled myself laughing the first time Jim related the tale.

Spook51..... I was 51 nine years ago and 'Spook' was the name of one of my cats, a scary long-haired jet black monster with piercing yellow eyes; sadly now an ex-cat.

In a word, yes. But it's G1LIW

Not very active these days, most likely to surface for an occasional ragchew on 2m/70cm, maybe 6 metres every so often too. Have all bands and modes capability, of course. Been licenced for some 25 years now Smile

No problem. You should hear what some folks hash it up as. I've allegedly been logged as G1ILW, G1LWI, G1WIL, and any number of combinations therein. I've been (apparently) a G8, G4, an M0, and about the only thing I've not been accused of is being a 2E0!

All this from the the over-the-air spoken phonetic version, Golf One Lima India Whiskey - surely a case of "need a new hearing aid?" than "Shoulda gone ter Specsavers!"... Go figure Twisted Evil
