The traffic bar has just gone from my 540 and if I go to live services and select HD traffic it says I need a subscription. I pay monthly (last payment was mid Jan). It is about a year since I started so I wondered if that was anything to do with it, however all other live services still work (google etc). If I select "my services" it shows everything other than HD traffic as valid until 16/3/10. Does anyone know what is going on?

Yep same for me. Happened last week as well for 24 hours then came back but gone again this afternoon.

Thanks - slightly reassuring. This has never happened before, but sounds network related. I just raised a support ticked with TT.

Yep - yet another LIVE Services outage!!!

I suppose we haven't had one for almost a fortnight so it was due.

At 16:50 today, after having been driving for about an hour and a half my TT had the dreaded red screen telling me I need a subscription as well.

Deja vu.

I've often had problems in the past with it connecting to the server, but it has never done this before saying I need a subscription. Strange that all other live services still work though?

If I go to "My services" Traffic isnt even mentioned. All the others are but no mention of traffic. This is a joke.

This happened to me on my journey home last night. All LIVE services apart from Traffic expired in 30 days time, Traffic apparently expired in November last year! I too pay monthly.

No amount of resetting or connecting through HOME last night appeared to work. Eventually I connected to HOME again this morning and went to 'My Tom Tom Account' in 'Preferences' through 'Operate my GO'. This then connected to my account after inputting Username and Password.

When I rechecked my unit the Traffic service resumed and the subscription left on all LIVE services including Traffic is now 29 days.

Maybe a coincidence, but at least it's back and seemingly working Smile

Edit: I thought it was too good to be true, it's reverted back. Temporary fix I'm afraid Evil or Very Mad

I've logged a question with TT Support, I told them I don't want the usual response (Place your bets now!)

I've noticed that my custom cursor has been replaced by the default one.

If I manually connect to the server the subscription corrects itself but appears to time out after a couple of minutes and revert back to expired status.

If I select renew HD Traffic it tells me my subscription is active and doesn't need renewing!

Edit: Blimey, fair play TT Support. I submitted a question at 07:50 and got a reply at 07:55 (Well done Will G. (UK)) The first paragraph was personal and relevant, although followed by the standard response (Charge, reset etc.)

Same thing happened to me this morning. Yesterday morning my Traffic just disconnected and got the Yellow triangle but this morning I had no traffic bar. Other live services were working but like everyone else there was no subscription showing to traffic.
However about 15 mins ago it all came back and working OK.

No HD Traffic for a few days now. It shows as expired in December, even though I have a current subscription. This is getting beyond a joke, considering the price we pay for the lack of Services.

Just lost it again - this is unacceptable - I'm still waiting for a reply from TT support. I hope everyone else with this problem has raised this with them as well?

I wonder if it is an accounts issue rather than a Live Services issue? I have noticed that they have recently tidied up the multiple expired services I had and I am now left with the correct current (1 yr) services. However my web account no longer shows the MapUpdate service and won't let me subscribe again.
