TomTom GO 910 Charging Problem/Dead Battery

I have very recently started having a problem with my TomTom Go 910.

The TomTom will charge on the mains, and it will run in my car for about 20 minutes. Slightly oddly using the car charger only prolongs this 20 minutes, rather than powers it indefinitely.

I have tried two different chargers and two different cars. The green charging light does come on.

Any ideas?

Worst comes to the worst I am going to use this http://www.unc.edu/~bmoc/tomtom/Tomtom%20Go%20910%20Dismantling%20Manual.pdf to guide me in replacing the battery.

Any good UK retailers of high quality batteries? Recommendations welcome!

Does it say "charging" at any point? When I plug my charger in the green light comes on even when the other end is not in the main/car!

I am having to hold the car mount and unit firmly together in order for it be charging.
