MaFt, can you oblige, please - I don't know how to obtain this information.

They are the SPECS cameras near Leeming services northbound.

I went through them on 2/12/09 and there was no K1 alert.

What are the camera ID's and I will ask?

all temp specs, all @50

southerly batch:
74624
70341
73505
70342
73404
70641
73405
70344

northerly batch:
73403
73402
73395
73623
72473
72512
72483
72511

not sure what format they get the data in but perhaps they're not accounting for 'tSPECS' when they create their version? i.e. 'SPECS' get in but not 'tSPECS' ?

So when will they update there database with the new one.

They issue a new database every Friday so the update due 18th Dec will contain the corrections.

With regard to the A1 SPECS, I've been in contact with Inforad. They have checked and claim all these points are in their current data.

Not much else I can do but they have asked that if anyone has an issue they can contact Inforad by phone - 0844-5622903 (£0.05 per min) or by e-mail support@gpsinforad.com

UPDATE
For me I find I can't use my K1 because the alerts are too irritating. The beep is too loud and the all clear takes too long to be triggered.

Gave mine away for exactly the same reason. Plus the overspeed alert blares constantly until speed matches road limit.

Darren, thanks again for your help with this. There is a new (v9.51) version of the database available to download today, which I will try over the weekend and report my findings.

UPDATE: The errant SPECS on the A1 at Team Valley appear at long last to have been removed, so thanks to Darren (and Inforad) for resolving this.
