i3 battery door - again!

Hi everybody,

The battery door on my i3 has fallen apart again - see http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=69056
Last time I emailed Garmin (July 2008), a nice lady called Rebecca Turpin sent me a replacement, but implied it was the last one they had. So, why don't I just get a new Sat-Nav? Well, I went and bought the USA maps on the micro SD card for the I3, and it works very well - will I be able to use the card in a newer Garmin sat-nav? It'd be a shame if not, as it cost me over £100 for the map! Does anyone have a dead I3 with a good battery door?
