Garmin POI settings for miles/kilometers

I am struggling with uploading my POIs!!

I have placed all the required files into a folder named "upload folder" for ease. These include both UK and European speed data bases. If I then select miles in POI Loader all the continental speed warnings will be wrong, and if I select kilometers then all the UK speed warnings will be wrong.

I understand that if I first upload just the Euope ones with kilometers and then upload the UK ones in miles the first lot of European ones will end up getting deleted.

Any help would be appreciated.

p.s. Last year I uploaded a set of POIs detailing 2008 Music Festivals and these appear in a seperate folder on my sat nav. How do I delete them please?

As for the Music Festival POIs can you find any files in the folder Garmin/poi on the Nuvi which end with .gpi? If so, move it to your PC and see if that clears it. Also check any SD card ou have installed. Ignore any GPI file with the word Cyclops in it.
