Im just getting ready to venture into pda's. Im in IT by trade, so hopefully things will go smoothly but up until now I've totally ignored the pda arena.

The things I'd like to achieve with my PDA are...

Navigation (preferably easily portable between cars - so thinking bluetooth)

Remote access to my mail server and files (VPN) - presuming I can make connection via my mobile (GPRS), connecting to my phone by bluetooth

Remote control device for my AV equipment

Wireless network access so that I can control my home media player.

To me, it looks like the 4150 is the better bet out of the two as it has the WiFi built in. Are there any other main differences?

My shopping list currently looks like this.

4150 PDA
Tom Tom 3 Bluetooth
512MB SD Card
Arkon Universal Powered Mount with Loudspeaker

Can anyone make any alternative recommendations or advise me of any no no's in this list before I dive in and spend my pennies Smile

Thanks

The list looks ok, and you are also considering the biggest drawback of the 4150 (the poor speaker) so you should be off to a smooth start.

Also note the 4150 doesn't have Consumer IR which means you can't use it as a remote. The 2210 has so you can and that's what swayed my decision and I have now ordered a 2210.
