Displaying POI on screen for nuvi 255wt

How do i set my nuvi255wt to show POI's on screen whilst i am driving?

If that model will show them whilst driving you have to be zoomed in quite a way.

Using 2D map view zoom into around 300ft scale - then POIs become visible. It will do the same in 3D view - except you don't have any scale for the map dur to the distorted perspective.
