Our real voice speed camera alerts page now has thirty different voice sets to choose from, that's right, 30 different sets.

Most voice packs are vailable in single file, consolidated and speed zoned versions to match the camera database and we have recently introduced Garmin compatible voice file packages available ion standard and Ash10 Camera manager version with more to come.

If you are already using our acclaimed speed camera database then installing the camera alert pack of your choice is a simple procedure and these are FREE to all our members along with our custom cursors, high quality Icon packs and our FREE POIs.

If you are not already taking advantage of these voice packs then pay the download page a visit, we also have voice packs available for other common POIs.

Hi. I have a two month old TomTom 730. I have downloaded your camera warning voices but am finding them impossible to install. When I get to the screen where you indicate you want a sound effect and touch "done", you then go to the distance screen. When you touch "ok" it just goes back to the "sound effect" or "type your own warning" screen. And on and on in a never ending loop.

Soft Reset then redo the warnings. It's a TomTom bug.

Hi

I have a Garmin N250 but cant get the voices to work .. i always use the speed zone cams so i downloaded the correct voices but still no go .. any ideas what im doing wrong please ?

Hi ive got the very first tomtom 1 model i regulary update the camera stuff no problems but im finding it hard to do the speed zoned voices of Liz that i want on my unit, ive unzipped & put the ogg files into the gb map folder, turn my unit on etc, it goes throu selecting warning sound but its still the usual bells etc...

Any idea's what i might be doing wrong...

Sadly for Garmin units in order to use the mp3 voice alerts you do need the mp3 player function in the unit.

You can use wav files instead if you use an old verison of POILoader (2.4.0 Beta, i think) but it is a Beta version and Garmin withdrew the facility to use wav files.

Hi

This is my first post but here goes

I have Gamin Nuvi 250 it does not work with the Mp3 files but having read the help file with poiloader it says for them to work the poi's have to be in a GPX file with the name tourguide xxxxx.

As the Speed camera files are CSV then the loader does not know to associate the mp3s to the poi's

Any one go t any ideas how to convert the CSV to GPX files?
