Having searched this forum I realise that I am not on my own as I now own 2 HW6515's which both suffer from intermittent lock up when trying to use GPS, tried soft boot, hard boot, re-install etc. etc. but they will work for a while (10 mins or 3 days or 2 weeks) and then stop. Hopeless!

HP seem to think it is down to weak satellite signals - as I run a land survey company using GPS dailyI know this is not the expalanation, I am certian the unis are unreliable and this seems to be the experience of others.

I run TT6 and Memory Map - when the Ipaq's work.

I have reached the point where I need to give up and bin both the units - any suggestions on what to replace them with - I still quite like the IPAQ machine for evrything else and of course would need to run TT and MM. Is there a more reliable later type of IPAQ?

Thanks for any suggestions - and if anyone wants 2 HW6515's that other than intermittent GPS functionality work perfectly - well I know this bloke that could help you out!

Please don't post the same question more than once - It can lead to confusing replies. I'm locking this thread in favour of your other one in the TomTom area.
