Hi everyone, this is my first topic in this forum.
I've just received as a gift a "Medion mpppc250" pocket pc and i am now starting to use the navigator included in the box.
I have no idea about navigation software precision and I have some questions abt the "Navigator v3.1" software.

1) Is it a good navigator or not? I mean, are maps precise and updated?
2) If possible, where can I find reviews abt the software?
3) Where can I find upgrades? Nothing is available on Medion website.
4) If u should give me an advice, which navigation software wuold u suggest me (with a good quality/price ratio...)?

Tkz in advance to anyone will answer me.

Bugigio. Thumbs Up

Hello,

I've had my Medion from the day of release. The software is very good and easy to use and I get between 7 and 10 satellites all the time.

Friends have Tom Tom and the only thing that's better is the post code navigation..........entering a postcode is all you need to do.

Tom Tom will cost you circa £100.00 though.

The speed camera overlay from this site is a godsend when you drive 70k miles per annum.

Play with your new toy...... and read this forum........if you get stuck then ask for help.

The Medion software is bought in from Navigon, a major player in Germany. Map data is from Navteq and is the latest available. Personally I dislike the interface but others love it. It's solid software and does the job well, and at the end of the day the hardware will run other solutions so you can always upgrade if you choose to Thumbs Up
