OziCE vs Memory Map 5

I bought an iPQ 314 when my venerable 2210 finally died after 4 years excellent service. I had MM5 but the 314 doesn't like it. Apparently the 314 runs OziCE a treat. I have no experience of OziCE, does anyone know the two well enough to offer an opinion on the differences?

The main difference is the biggie - you can't get many maps for OZIExplorer (esp in UK), you usually scan your own. However there are sites where you can download other's scanned maps - but there is almost certainly some issue around copyright of maps to be aware of.

Even if you do scan your own be aware that the OSGB (and others) don't allow this - even for personal use - but lots of people do it But don't expect to find these on web sites - the OSGB take a very dim and very strong view on this behaviour.

Having said that - the program is very flexible and probably has functionality above that of MemoryMap.
