Igo 8 and TMC

Does anyone have a set up using the TMC capability?

I am thinking of buying one of the Realtek 2000 GPS+TMC receivers but have been told by the suppliers that they do not know is it will work. They say it works with Destinator but I do not want to use that software.

But Ramsses (on this site) says it works with the RTG-1000 (the old version) and someone on the Wikio website using a Loox says the 2000 model does not work.

Come on somebody out there must have used or tried to use the RTG 2000 with Igo 8 by now!

With up to date version and maps - not a problem now
