I've had my 930t now for 3 weeks and the battery will not last for more than 75 minutes Sad .

When the battery indicator drops below half, the voice guidance starts cutting out unless i turn it down so low i can hardly hear it.
Also when the batt indicator reaches 1/4 the unit switches off.

So now after about 30-40mins i have to connect the charger so i can keep the volume high without affecting the performance

The bluetooth function is switched off, so its not that killing the power.

My previous TT910 battery lasted up to 2.5 hours which id be more than happy with on the 930.

Overall im happy with the 930 but this crap battery performance is driving me up the wall, how on earth can TT quote 5hrs
I also have the same problem as you have described Evil or Very Mad Very low run time on the battery, no warning when the battery is running low, it just cuts off without warning or the voices distorts breaks up and the unit turns off and sometimes the battery shows quarter full when it does this.
Why have a battery if you are not going to use it? why make false claims of 5 hours battery life? people do not want wires running all over the car and this is why a battery is fitted, what about if you set the sat nav to use when you cycle? as per the option? you would need one hell of a 22 mile long battery lead on a cycle ride!!!! Rolling Eyes
The sat nav is fantastic, IQ routes is good, mapping is ok, bluetooth etc ok, battery is utter rubbish, anyone know where I can get a usb 12v 22 mile long lead from??????????
Has anyone had trouble with the voice stopping functioning? I had high noise level in the car and the voice went loud due to background noise and then the voice stopped working had to reset the unit, it has done this twice now?

Yes simply fit a 12V pack of rechargable cells into a water bottle and put that on the bike, plug the unit in and depending upon the capacity of the cells you make it from it will last all day and night - Mike

As I run 2 navs, a Garmin 760 and the Tomtom930, my original thought was to run the TT on battery, with my nuvi plugged in. I had already compromised the battery life on my 760 by leaving it in my hot Florida truck on a daily basis since last November. I quickly found the 930 battery life to be well short of 2 hours. I now run a splitter for powering both via the vehicle.
