Rich,

I have same as you TomTom wise, but use a Nokia 6230i. I use a Planatronics 320 Bluetooth earpiece.
Pair the earpice to the TomTom, when the TomTom is docked in the car.
TT will ask wether you want to replace the M/Cycle headset. Say no, it will then give you the option of pairing another headset/earpiece as an in car headset. Say yes, and pair.

When in car, connect the earpiece, and phone to the TomTom, When out of car, disconnect from TomTom, and connect the phone direct to the earpiece, or visa versa.

Hope it helps.

Thanks CBRXX-RibDiver for your help,

I have a Plantronics M2500 headset but no matter what I do it wont pair I get the message "M2500 by Plantronics . Unable to use this headset. Your headset did not report any Bluetooth features. Do you want to try again? "

I have no idea what to do, I am reluctant to buy another headset unless I no for sure it will work with TT rider v2 and my Sony Ericsson K800.

Rich.
I am not a technical buff/geek. so on that I cannot help you. I only know, from reading all links and forums, that the TT2. is Bluetooth V1. something. Poss if your headset is V2. it will not work 2gether. Can only say that my 320 Plantronics works ok !!
Pain in the pertverbial backside, but that is very usual with "Hi tech" stuff.
Hope you get it sorted !!

Try a hardware reset of your tomtom using a paperclip. Then keep trying, sometimes it takes three or four go's for it all to work together.

Anybody got these all working together in car?

All the fleet at work have parots fitted for hands free which works fine with the Nokia.

However If I want to switch to the Rider from Navigator 6 everything will have to work with the existing in car setup, Navigator 6 works fine with a CF datacard in my Axim so hasn't needed to be paired to my phone at all.
