In the latest advertising spam missive from Mr Blair he says | Quote: | | SPECS cameras have until now just been used on sections of Motorways where roadworks were being undertaken. |
Huh? That's news to me and it'll come as a shock to the residents of Northants where it's been deployed on their A roads for some years as it has in many other locations!
Always brightens my day to read them though, they're like the infomercials for 10 minute ABS and vegetable choppers

I'll go along with that, from memory isn't there a set of specs cameras alongside Smithfield market in central London ?
or at least there used to be and no roadworks in sight !
Also the plethora around Hawley in East London.

I got another spam today puffing his laser detector http://www.talex.co.uk:80/LaserDetector
with a story of unmarked police cars tricking you to speed up only to pull over just as you come up to a mobile site and leave you in full view.
Again saying the detector can save you because have 3 seconds in which to slow down before a reading is taken !! |
