Currently I own an iPAQ 2210 PDA mainly for running Tomtom 6, GPSGate and Memory Map. I’m wondering what people might suggest for my next PDA. It has to be able to run the above software, have Bluetooth, and both CF and SD memory sockets. Wireless would be nice, but not essential. I DON'T want it to be a phone as well !

If you want to stick with the iPAQ range consider the 2495 or 2795 which have the expansion slots you require, or if the budget will stretch out to the 211 you should consider that, Memory Map on a true 4" VGA display is great and you get both CF and SDIO - Mike |

Thanks for the reply, Mike. Doing a quick Google, the iPaq 211, although very new, seems to be slightly cheaper than the other two you suggested. I think I'll be keeping an eye on the 211 as the 4" screen certainly looks nice.

It is much better than just being a larger screen, a QVGA device has a screen made up of 320x240 pixels, the 211 device has a true VGA screen which has four times as many pixels 640x480 so it displays far greater detail and looks much better when running Memory Map if you zoom in close. - Mike |
