New to this
Does the 257 limit apply to all categories i.e. Main and sub categories?
At the moment I have 1,000 POI files within 13 Categories.
Is this OK to load onto my satnav?

the limit applies to the category only. You may only have the max number of POI categories loaded. It matters not how many individual POIs there may be in any category.
