| can any body help i brought the above sat nav off ebay when i got it switched it on it said loading maps so i waited and waited and nothing thats all it says can any body tell me wot i can do to get it working againplus i was never sent the mapping cd have tryed to get back in touch with the person that sold it to me and they are no longer a ebay useralso have tryed the reset button still nothing |

| as stated before it came with no mapping cd s memory card is in the unit looks a bit squashed on one side dont no if that makes a difference how else do i reset the unit as i have tryed the reset button but that just turns of the unit any other way of doing a reset dont really want to send it to garmin that will cost a fortune |

Without the SD or DVD there seems little you can do as it could be 'hot' and involving Garmin could bring in 'The Bill'!  |

| cheers mate it came in the rite box with a usb lead and usb drivers cd rom plus a quick reference guide and product info sheet i would say it was legal as the bloke said he had got a new car with sat nav built in he told me that he hadnt used it for a while and that the battery was dead on it but since i have had it i have charged the battery up so iwondering could it have lost the maps when the battery was flat |
